The Lake District

On the sixth of July of last year I went to Windermere, a gorgeous town in the Northern England. I was to be a student helper at a summer school for kids from all around the world. I once was a student at that very school...learning English and making friends from literarily all corners of Earth. This time I was working but really it was vacation for me...playing bascetball with kids and taking them for trips was a pleasure. Working with kids is so rewarding.

The weather in addition was surprisingly beautiful...I was glad that the typical British weather had decided not to meet up with us there. It was 30 degrees for three weeks, hmm. The school is situated very near the Windermere Lake...you can see it from the windows in classes, stunning....and distracting, hehe. So a scenery right from a fairy tale.
