A view of Nerja

Today carried on much the same lines as yesterday but with a twist in the evening! After the whole day by the pool reading (The Queen's Fool by Phillippa Gregory, ace book if you're a history buff like me and are into the Tudors) and then a walk into town, maybe check the bus times next time holiday outside the town, it was a 30 minute walk and Becky very quickly got bad blisters and had to hobble for the rest of the holiday. No arguments as of yet. Which is quite a success seeing how we are living in such confined quarters with ten of us, no Big Brother moments.

Anyway by the time we got back to the Villa I was desperate to go down to the beach. Im a sea freak and the fact that this was our 2nd day and no beach as of yet seemed to tempting to let it go on any longer and walking by the sea at nighttime is so relaxing, just listening to it and at night the sand isn't likely to burn your feet as it can do during the heat of the midday sun.

Becky, Hannah, Ellen and Owen were too tired to come out walking but Becca, Tay, Dennis, Seb, Livi and I went down to the nearest beach. It was gorgeous, although the restaurants were the expenisve type found in the tourist areas so we bypassed these with our stomachs already filled comfortably with the cheaper and just as good food that can be found in the centre of Nerja.  There was no one else on the beach at 11pm in the evening and the water was not too cold.  My dress got rather damp but it was fun and cheap (in fact free).  Hanging by the sea is always good.  Hanging on an empty beach with just you and your mates is excellent.

By the time we got back Owen was fast asleep but Ellen, Becky and Hannah were dancing somewhat "interestingly" perfecting dance movements that were relevent to driving, don't ask, they hadn't even drunk!
