On the sea in a canoe

We booked our bus to Melbourne for Tuesday next week - the bus leaves at 6.05am, so it will be yet another early start - there is just no rest for us travellers.  After this we headed down to the marina and hired a canoe for an hour so we could have a paddle in the bay.  It was quite hard going at times with the wind and the currents, made harder by the fact that we couldn't quite get our paddling synchronised - this resulted in many 360 degree turns.  The people sat having lunch in the nearby waterside cafes must have been very amused watching our antics.
