A great city

Roller Coaster inside the shopping centre

After a very lazy morning following a very late night we finally managed to get out of the hostel and see a part of what Kuala Lumpur does best - shopping centres.  We were in no mood for heat and humidity so the air conditioned super centres really appealed today. We headed into the centre across the road from the hotel.  It is a massive shopping centre - so big in fact that there is an amusement park inside - with a roller coaster!  We even nearly missed the roller coaster as it is hidden in one section - it's only because we were being naughty and wanted a MuckDonalds that we found it - had we been sticking to our principles we would never have known it was there!

In the evening we headed to Little India for some food and had a superb curry with chapatis.  Two pounds for both of us, and the best chicken curry ever!

Before walking back we decided to go and see the Petronas Twin Towers in the dark.  From a distance they looked very impressive but standing underneath them was amazing - they are quite tall!
