So far....

Well, now only 3 more pay days(thats 2 1/2 months) to go until we set off, so we're now up to the saving every penny stage (although feel like we've been doing this for time!). We both have rucksacks, Emmas has gone for a 65l - lowe alpine something, and I decided to be brave and get a smaller one at 55l - a karrimor Monsoon-but think with these we'll have plenty of room. The next big expense for us both is going to be the injections - I basically have to have everything except yellow fever - although the nurse might as well just throw that in for good measure!!!! Not yet found out how much the japanese enciphilitus will cost!! Was quite suprised that rabies only came in at £4.50 - looks like we struck lucky on the NHS lottery!! Heb B was £60 though -boooo! Also now wondering about which malaria tablets we will take for the time in Asia and possibly Africa. Its getting really hard now not to over plan things - the stuff we wanted to book is booked - such as accom in toronto, accom in sydney for xmas/new year time some transport.
