This morning we left our wonderful guesthouse and found a bus to take us to Singapore. It didn't take as long as we thought it would, just 4 hours and that included a very easy border crossing. It is slightly worrying though coming into Singapore, there are that many rules and regulations we really had to think that we weren't carrying any illegal substances - like chewing gum!
We got dropped off at the bus station just next to Little India, which was handy as that was where we wanted to stay. We passed a decent looking hostel and checked into it. We are now oficially back to sleeping in dorms. Have to get used to that one again. The hostel is very new so everything is clean and modern so we're happy. We headed out for an explore of Little India and to get some food, finding a little cafe that did a wonderful curry. Don't think we will be stuck for anywhere to eat round here. It sems quite reasonable pricewise too. Last time we came to Singapore we thought it was mega expensive but that was many years ago and we were staying in a luxury hotel then!
