Out of the jungle, into the city

After a delicious breakfast of roti canai we got into a boat and headed out of the jungle. It was certainly one of our more preferred ways of travelling, sat comfortably low down next to the water with a nice cool breeze, watching the jungle glide past us. We saw the occasional flash of blue, as a bird swooped low over the water.
It took about two hours to get out, and we then had to wait another couple of hours to get on a bus to the capital - Kuala Lumpur. The journey was mostly along the motorway, which seemed very modern after some of the roads we have been on in the last few months. After about 4 hours we got our first glimpses of the city skyline and it looked very impressive with the KL Tower and the Twin Towers rising above the other buildings.
Kuala Lumpur has a good reputation for clubbing so we decided to check it out. After some food in one of the local Indian cafes we called into a bar called 'Wings' for a few drinks. The bar was very popular, with the local young Chinese people all eating and drinking whilst listening to the music duet singing cheesy love songs. We then headed to a club that supposedly had a reputation for great house music. The club was great and the people friendly enough. The music was good, but not sure the whole night could be classified as 'house' music - not unless ABBA and Rick Astley have re-invented themselves!
