Je suis une touriste!!! - Niagara Falls
Down for breakfast early at 8am, Emma got moneys worth but it was wasted on Diane - much too early for her! Our host booked us onto a trip to Niagara Falls. We soon realised we had been conned into doing the full 'tourist' monty, ie. getting out of the bus every 20 mins to take photos of assorted tourist attractions - the best being a large flower bed. Photo of that to follow soon - can you wait!!? We were soon losing the will to live and this was before we had even arrived at the falls!!
The Falls themselves were quite spectacular - as you would expect really. We went out on the Maid of the Mist boat into the falls - looked stunning in our blue tourist bin bags that acted as waterproof coats - supposedly!! The town of Viagra was tacky to say the least - imagine Blackpool without the litter and you have it spot on!
At night we went to explore the local neighbourhood but again didn't last very long as still quite tired. (Sorry Carol & Nicola - not doing you proud yet!!)
