Up early today as Emma was due to play squash at 10am. She played a woman who part owned the local squash club and had a good game despite it being too hot on court even at that time of day. Emma was glad that the woman wasn't too good otherwise the sweat would have been pouring.
Chris at the hostel had very kindly offered to give us a lift to the local winery, Tilba Vineyard. We got dropped off about midday, introduced to the owner, and got straight into the wine tasting. By the time we had worked our way through the whole range (which was about 14 wines) we really needed some food to soak it all up. Ordered lunch and chatted to an Australian family who were here on holiday from Melbourne. The food was excellent, after which we chatted to the vineyard owner for a while. You would think that owning an idyllic vineyard would be a slice of heaven, but he seemed a little dissatisfied, saying that he missed European culture and his friends (he is from London and has been here for five years). Chris came and picked us up at about 2.30 and sat and had coffee with us while we finished.
Afternoon drinking induces sleep so we weren't fit for a great deal. Read, relaxed and watched the tennis for the rest of the day.
