Bondi Beach for the day

There were many shenanigans in the hostel during the night, people coming in at all hours, people who had forgot their key banging on the door at 5am and then a boy being in the dorm! It makes for an eventful night! After breakfast we began our mission of today - to suss out Bondi Beach. We easily got there, just got on the tube to Bondi Junction then the bus to the beach - it seems that things are simple in Australia. Bondi seemed nice - a bit like being in Greece with loads of cafes along the pavement. We sat on some rocks overlooking the beach - which wasn't as big as we had expected. After having our lunch on the beach we went to find where the apartment was that we had booked for Xmas and New Year, it looked ok from what we saw. Back at the beach we stayed there for the rest of the afternoon - it has the most perfect sand ever - really soft and golden.
Back to the city and back to the hostel for showers then headed to an Italian we had spotted earlier. It wasn't the best meal we had had but it filled a corner and was better than cooking in the tiny hostel kitchen.
