Bora Bora, Baby!
August 28, 2003
I visited Papette, Huahine, Moorea....which were all beautiful, but Bora Bora just stands out with it's amazing views. As I landed, and saw the almost black mountains{Mount Otemanu and Mount Pahia}, with the lush emerald greenery and the stunningly gorgeous blue lagoons...no words can describe the beauty. If, I appear to be 'gushing' it's because I am. This is paradise, Baby! Make no Mistake. God is My Favorite Artist!
And paradise does come with a price. Yes, a high price! Over-the-water bungalows start at $500 USD a night. Oh.....but, what a splurge. With glass see-through coffee tables ....you can see schools of fish swimming by. And with a deck outside with stairs leading right into those gorgeous turquiose waters!
Just 18 miles around, Bora Bora is a South Pacific Island that is a once in a life-time must-see!

I really can't say enough about Bora Bora Lagoon Resort and Spa. It exceded my expectations. Perfection. Upon arrival at Bora Bora Airport we were wisked away by catamaran, with absolutely stunning views, to arrive at this luxurious resort. The staff treated us like royalty, as we were escorted to our over-the-water bungalow.
Once inside, it was everything I always envisioned. Hibiscus flowers arranged on the bed and in the bathroom, see-thru glass coffee table and a fabulous deck with amazing views of the Majestic Mountains, and steps leading right down into the crystal-clear blue-green water!
