Sky Hotel and departure

Our last day in Bangkok :(  Got a taxi to the Baiyoke Sky Hotel, at 304m the tallest building in Bangkok.  Bought tickets and then got lift up to 77th floor - the observation deck, but indoor.  There were some old tuk - tuks from the past, and a display with an amusing sign - see pic!  We then took the stairs to the very top (scary aliens on the stairway) - the outdoor observation deck.  This was really amazing (prob not so good if you are scared of heights) and offered a view over the entire city, provided the weathers clear.  Revealed some secrets - namely the swimming pool on the roof of some high rise building!

After leaving the mighty Sky Hotel went to shopping mall nearby where we had another foot massage.  Had lunch at a stall in a side street - fantastic and v cheap, before heading back to Narai to collect our cases and head to the airport.  Sad to leave this amazing city, but was also excited to visit Phuket.  We had a late afternoon flight and arrived in Phuket at dusk.  Got picked up by a minibus and eventually made it to Patong Penthouse, where we were staying.  Beautiful garden, though room was a bit of a shock after staying in Narai Hotel!
