St. Michaelis
The day started out hot and humid (which doesn't mean it didn't end so) and we started off to the Michel, the main church of Hamburg. It is a very nice and large church and I can understand why the Hamburgers are so proud of it. We also climbed the over 400 stairs to the top of the tower from where we could see the whole city.

After that we decided to make a stop at Nordsee for some seafood (very fat fast food) before we got onto the ferry to Övelgönne/Neumühlen. There was a large crowd waiting for the ferry already and somehow we got onto the ferry. The open deck was more than overcrowded so we tried it inside, where it was sooo unbelievably hot.

About 20 minutes later we arrived at Övelgönne/Neumühlen, where we just followed all the other people into one direction. It was still hot and almost no wind to make it a little easier to breathe :). Although Övelgönne was really nice (considering that most likely during the week there wouldn't be so many people) as the houses are really pretty and the view is really nice.

Unfortunately there is a nice beach down at the Elbe river and since it was Sunday sooo many people were there that the whole experience was rather stressful. And the weather didn't help that any.

We were just glad to get back onto the ferry to the Landungsbrücken and then home, as the weather was so humid that we decided to spend the rest of the evening in our cool home.
