San Sebastian beach
Barcelona is full of hot girls on the beach, a bunch of young people. You can feel the atmosphere right when you get to Barcelona. In Rome, I felt like I had to behave otherwise God was going to punish me! Yup! That's because Rome is full of churches, and Barcelona isn't. My friend and I stayed at Seapoint Hostel which is located like 20 feet from the San Sebastian beach. The hostel was amazing and our roommates were kool! We went out to try the famous Spanish paella. Also on our last night in barcelona, my friend and I wanted to try Absinth. You know? the drink that glows and makes you hallucinate. Well we went to this small absinth bar and like the tourist that we were, we had so many questions about this drink like how much alcohol does it have, does it cause any brain damage, and will I see a green fairy? Stupid questions but we were just curious for the answer.
That paella was good!
So the bartender prepared the drink infront of us and it didn't glow like most people said it would. Kinda of disapointing actually! Our absinth was 50% alcohol, the highest they had was 86%. Yes, we went with the lowest one they had. So it was nothing special, I didn't see a green fairy, it didn't glow in the dark, I didn't get brain damaged, and this drink was only 7Euros. Someone told me that the absinth that makes you hallucinate is the absinth that ends with an "E", so it's "absinthe" and not "absinth". So someone wants to look for that and try it out, let me know how that goes. Overall my trip was great, went to Las Ramblas 3 times, watched a little Argentinian tango, Michael Jackson was also there, and the devil. Amazing city to go to if you want to go somewhere neat.
