Important Paperwork. A Day at the 'office'.

In Thessaloniki!

I have to organise some important paperwork today at the British Consulate in Aritotelous Street in Thessaloniki.

In order to be here on the mainland I had to get the

0705am ferry from Prinos Thassos, to Kavala. 4.50 Euros

Left Koi with my usual great Dog Handler/kenneler/dog hotelier Efthimis at 0830.

0930 bus/coach from Kavala to Thessaloniki 'KTel' bus station 13.50 Euros

1140 local '78' bus from KTel bus station to Thessaloniki down-town 2 Euros (Day ticket)

I missed my stop and had to get a taxi back up the town for 3.50 Euros

Got to the office before they closed ! Phew.

Paperwork sorted.

Staying in Neo Metropolis Hotel tonight on 'Singrou' street in town. 45 Euros one night, if reserved over the internet. 5 Euros for breakfast if room reserved over the internet. FREE internet service at hotel. 1920's style decor and building. Towels,toilet paper,shower gel and shampoo provided.

Now I'm off to east something in town!
