Three Yellow Jackets, from two different generations, say goodbye to the confines of the continential United States for a month and explore the wonders of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, & Hawaii.

Good News

The Prince of Wales Geyser on the left and the famous Pohutu Geyser on the right. Both erupted simultaneously.

Hi, all!  No time for a long entry.  We have made it Rotorua, a major town in the central part of the North Island.  This will be our last stop before heading to Auckland to end our New Zealand adventure and begin winding our way home (via Hawaii, of course).  The most important news is this: on Saturday evening, Sheldon and I (Miller bowed out) will go to a HUGE sporting event for the Kiwis.  Their pride and joy -- the All Blacks rugby team -- will face Ireland's national team at Eden Park in Auckland.  Sheldon and I will be there to root on the All Blacks.  We face but one major problem: Sheldon's jacket is green, and his sweater fleece is orange. Those are the Irish colors.  We'll find him some black, though.  It may be a matter of life and death!!  :)

More later,

Chris
