** WORK IN PROGRESS! ** Set off for Oz two days after my first year at University finished, spent two months working in Sydney with a hospitality agency in hotels & restaurants, then travelled up the East Coast to Cairns for a month, back to Sydney and on to Bangkok for 4 nights. It was...amazing! Definitely aiming to live in Sydney one day.

Touchdown...

This pretty much was a just a refuelling stop for the flight, but it really reminded me why I love Thailand and Bangkok so much.

We're due to stop in Bangkok for 4 nights on the way back from Australia, but I really wanted to stay now, I think it's because the journey had been pretty long already, and we knew there was still quite a distance to go. The last time I flew to Oz was Glasgow - London Heathrow - Singapore - Cairns and was much quicker than this trip!

Seeing so many people carry orchids in particular has always made me think of Thailand, and in the departure lounge, there's lots of stands selling them in 'flight-proof' boxes...ah well, three months to wait.

We were on the ground for about 2 hours, and only allowed out of the holding room for the toilet and food, but still - I knew we were in Thailand, and though it's not the most attractive airport in the world, it has good memories for me.

Anyway, back to the plane and onwards...
