This hotel, situated just a couple of blocks away from Copacabana is really good value for money. The building itself has the worn, shabby 70's charm that is thypical for the city. Eventhough the rooms could need some redecorating, they are big and clean. The building has 13 floors. The biggest selling point is the rooftop pool area with a tiny gym. This has just been renovated. The buffet breakfast is exellent. Several types of warm dishes, good variaty of cold-cuts and cheeses and tons of fresh delicious fruit. The staff in the restaurant were just the sweetest. We had lunch in the restaurant on a couple of occations, and after that we recieved special treatment for the rest of our stay. Will strongly reccomend this hotel!
