Krabi, you are very blue ...

Two years ago.

Outing trip with advertising team, after we're disappoited in HK trip then boss gave us another gift to Krabi.

Krabi island at south of Thailand, easy to go by bus or plane from Bangkok.

Haven't been there for almost ten years, last time was with Dad. I was wondering if it's still beautiful after Tsunami has taken many beautiful thing and people away last year (2004), for sure, things might change. Even though TAT (Tourism Authority of Thailand) had a campaign about recovering Andaman, even the news said we got fantastic Krabi back but I wasn't sure, tried it anyway.

But i was wrong. It wasn't beautiful as it was but still has wonderful parts which were enough to make us smile.

In the past I don't like snorkeling much. Can i swim? Hmm, not sure but i just can survive in the sea. I have learned how to swim by myself, all i got is "New" style, yeah mine, remember I'm new? lol

First trip, 10 years ago at Koh Mak, Trad province.  I'm a person who's scare of everything which i cannot see, touch or run away. In the sea, i always do not go deep. Afraid that something is gonna show up and i can't swim away.

At koh mak, friends went for diving, yes i was in but the sea was horrible. Down there were rocks, sea color was black and many many spiny murexes. Didn't see lovely fishes, even Nemo. Scary. I swam fastly to the boat and never looked back again. I denied diving since. 

But that thought has changed when i was work in a Radio station 5 years ago.

We set a trip to take the radio station fans to the beach, diving trip at Koh Ngam Noi and Ngam Yai, Chumporn Province. At that time i worked with my ex, to be a good girl so i had to say Ok, i'll dive. (snokeling actually). It was the first time in 5 years for snorkel since Koh mak. Ok, go for it, told myself, just to win my ex's heart lol. Love can make people do anything indeed!!

But lucky me, the sea was so clear, clean and beauuuuuutiful. Many fishes and corals down there were so awesome. I love diving since.

And that made me say yes for Krabi trip with boss so easy. And krabi wasn't make me disappoint. It was at night when we arrived so went out to have dinner at the market and back to bed so early because we had to wake up at 5am, 6 islands were waiting for us in the next morning.

 6 islands!! Yak!!! I haven't known before that i had to go to 6 islands in one day. Awww, boss, I'm not a candidate swimmer from Thailand who goes for an olympic diving competition. Why six!  

But since i decided to come with them so i should do what the team want. That was the last trip that i went with them so ...ok, do it do it before i quit.

We went to dive at PP, Maya Bay, Rai lay and the rest which i can't remember the name :( We were the first group who arrived Maya Bay. one hour later, 4 speed boats and one big boat arrived. I think it's about hundred people there, chaos. Lucky us that we reached there first and enjoyed the private beach already.

Then boss took us to have lunch which far from maya beach about 30 minutes.

Eveything was so expensive because there has only one restaurant on that Island. Such as I can have fried egg and rice only 3-5$ in Bangkok but overthere was ten times expensive more than i have ever had. Although boss took care of the cost but i don't like it anyway. They took advantage more than i can forgive!

We went to PP. There had something to remind us of the tragedy, Tsunami, the nightmare. I was very lucky because friends and i had a plan to go there during that time but one of our friends had not done her job on time so we postponed to next week. At first we were angry because we booked tickets and everything. Postponed them was a mess. But after the tragedy had happened, we had to say thank you to her for gave us a chance to live in this beautiful world. 

p.s. I remember a few about Krabi trip, just remember that i had a great moment in the blue sea but hope you enjoy the photos. Krabi is still beautiful and fantastic, although it's hard to find the private zone because there are many tourists but i bet a wonderful krabi will make you forget about it as it did to me.
