After last time with my JWT's gang, just now that I dragged myself back to Krabi again. I told myself that I should have been to the beach once a year. I supposed to go back to Lipe Island again but I should have more days off. Ale wanted to dive. I don't remember why the answer was Krabi. Anyway we did. And for me, Krabi is better than Phuket or Samui so .. we went there.
We took the bus to Krabi, VIP 32 seats, at SaiTaiMai Bus Station. This station is for the south route. It's about 8 hours from Bangkok. We arrived there in an early morning. We're there in the long holiday, 4-8 December, 2008. Usually this time is the high season as well as it's during the King's birthday. Eveything is expensive than ever. But in this year, I hopes it wasn't. Because we just had a mob that close the airport the week before. I don't think that there is any tourists want to come to Thailand during this time.
At Krabit bus station was very quiet. Maybe I was right. No people. We hired a cab to Had Nopparat Tara which is near Ao nang to search for the hotels. We didn't book anything. I'm looking for the place which is about 1500THB per room but there's nothing fit with that price at all. The most expensive one I've asked was about 6000THB per night - had a chance just only looked at it. The next one was 2800THB. And the others are around 2500-3500THB. They said "it's a peak season" .. Com'on, if you say it's a high season that sounds make sense more.
Then we've found Ao Nang Buri resort. We liked the staffs. After bargain from 3,300THB to 2,500THB then we stayed there. The hotel looks nice. Service was quite good - but later we've found that it wasn't - i wrote it in my review already.
Hello Krabi - why you looked different from the last 3 years?
You weren't blue.

I came here just to take a break really. I love to sit in the balcony and just look around. Ok, I told you the room is nice. But when I looked around and looked at myself - oh here isn't my place. I need a hammock. I need the sand.
