Witch Relative?

Went to Salem today, and took a tour of the Salem Witch Museum. There are a lot of Parkers up here, and two were killed for being witches. I will be looking them up to see if there was any relation. Alice and Mary were their names, so it may be hard to tell. Salem was only 10-20 minutes from where we stayed, not out of the way at all. It’s a good little side trip if you are ever in Boston.

Got on the road and when we got to Portland, Maine, we stopped for lunch at Benny’s. It was a roadside shack that sold lobster rolls and such, but it was pretty good. When we got back to the car the car started to over heat. Thank God we were only about 3 miles from the Portland airport that had a Budget car rental. We were able to get right in and exchange vehicles. Got a Jeep this time, it was a much better ride I think.

Driving up the way we did from Portland to Bar Harbor reminded us a lot of Southern Illinois. Rocky and tree lined. Finally we hit some water just outside Bar Harbor.
