Travelling overland from Colombia to Brazil in 4.5 months of mayhem!

City Tour

We went on a city tour this afternoon to see the ruins located around the main city Cost us only 15 soles (about $6NZD) from 2pm until about 6pm so what is there to complain about! Although you do have to buy a tourist ticket to cover all the ruins which is about 70 soles which is another story. Let me tell you... Cusco is expensive!!

We visited 4 different areas, all interesting but not awe-inspiring even for someone like myself who is really into this sort of stuff. I am hoping Machu Picchu has somehting to offer me then (somehow I´m sure it will)!

One stop was Sacsayhuaman (pronounced like ¨Sexy Woman¨) which is a relatively large complex of ruins, mostly of walls with the classic ´jigsaw´ cut used by the Incas.

I can´t actually remember any of the other places we stopped at, if I do I´ll update this!! They were all relatively interesting.
