Travelling overland from Colombia to Brazil in 4.5 months of mayhem!

Bogota to San Gil

Nathan - hostel in San Gil. Our room.

Took a bus today from Bogota to San Gil at about 9:30am this morning. Was a good trip - man they have flash buses over here, we got a snack and a movie and extremely comfy seats! Better than any flight that´s for sure!

Weather went from fine to rain, to fine to thunder and lightning. Very interesting. The entire trip took about 7hrs.

We got pulled over by the army and had our first search - it was pretty exciting actually. They spoke no English of course and us barely any Spanish so they just laughed and were quite friendly.

Checked into our hostel run by Shaun. Great place and we have a wicked view (check out the photos)! Have no idea what we will be up to tomorrow yet, so much to do!

We both like Colombia but the scenery is much like at home.
