Great 2009 Holiday! We started our journey flying to Vilnius. In Vilnius we rented a car and we drove to the Curtlandia Isthmus and Hill of Crosses. We dropped the car in Riga´s Airport and after visiting this fantastic city we took a bus to Tallin. From Tallin we took a ferry to Helsinki!

To fly to Bratislava and get the ferry to Vienna has been one of our best ideas in a long time! we did not expect much from Bratislava, but we have been delighted by this beautiful city! and don´t miss the ferry to get to Vienna all along the Danube river!

We have just spent 2 days in one of the most impressive cities in the world! If you asked me, you need at least four days to visit the most touristic places, but we had enough time to get a clear idea of what is this city all about!

Jamaa El Fna, The Souks, Palais de Bahia are some of the places you cannot miss in Marrakech! I just spent 5 days taking photos and writting reviews of all the places I had the opportunity to visit! Spend some time and read some of my entries!

One day in november we checked flights in Rumbo and we made a reservation to Berlin. If you are looking for good rates and you are working from Monday to Friday, you might be forced to do what we did… leave on a Wednesday afternoon and come back on Friday morning! That results in just a 1 full day visit, so we started designing the trip. Steps: 1.Check TB’s reviews 2.Review Lonely Planet 3.Position all interesting places in Google earth 4. I have just spent a whole week in La Palma. This is my second time there and I just loved it! if you want to spend a relaxing time doing trecking and looking at the stars, this is the perfect place! Check my reviews and photos!

This weekend I went to Valencia to see the F1 European Grand Prix. It is been amazing although Fernando Alonso had to abandon after the first lap. Check my photos and also my reviews. I recommend you to attend next year. Great organization, great city!

This last Friday I had the opportunity to meet 14 travbuddies I only knew online! It was a fun day, pitty we did not have the chance to spend more time together! At night we were invited to a big party with swimming pool and a funny castle!

A month ago I bought a macro lenses from Canon and this last weekend I started testing it! I am new at this, so it might take me some time to make good MACRO photos... anyhow, I am going to start publishing some of them. Last weekend when I was in my garden taking these photos, my family thought I was going nuts, as I took the photos lyind down on the ground, hunging from a tree...you know... :)

If you are thinking of visiting Stockholm for two days, read this blog, it might help! altough get ready to walk! Today I don´t feel my legs!!! hahahh Soon I will upload a selection of my best photos!

Spectacular visit to Valle del Jerte!

It is amazing how many people from Spain go to the Caribbean while you have one of the nicest beaches in the Balearic Islands! My favorite beach is Macarelleta!

I just came back from a fascinating weekend in Istanbul! I did not expect to find such an interesting city, and although the weather was not perfect, it has been a beautiful experience. I highly recommend to visit Istanbul!

Christmas shopping in Andorra! My travel genes got nervous on Thursday and I bought a ticket to go to this small country by bus. It took me 9hours to get there, but I could satisfy my travel needs! I am attaching some photos... ;)

A MUST visit if you come or you live in Europe! It is a beautiful city, with more than 100 canals and 1000 brigdes! Houses along the canals show so much personality... there is nothing better than having a nice hot coffee overlooking any of the canals!

Estoy organizando una escapada a Logroño para este próximo fin de semana. La idea es visitar una de las bodegas más modernas de La Rioja y una de las más tradicionales. Para complementar, un alucinante viaje en globo sobrevolando los viñedos de Haro.

On Tuesday night I was in the office and suddenly I started having widthdrawals… my body was in need of a new trip! Damn! Could not avoid it! I visited www.rumbo.es and I bought a ticket to Warsaw! I believe I have a serious problem… Not too many years ago I had enough with just one trip per year but I have changed and I have become travel addicted! Need to go for some treatment soon! I guess that this is good for your health but it is really bad for your pocket! ☺

I just came back from the TravBuddy Meetup in Ireland. There I met and had a crazy night with Travelman, Matt, Elliot, Ryan, Angela, Eoin, Amanda, Dave, Lucas, Juan and a new member from that same night!

One weekend tour

Friday night and I had no plans to go anywhere on the weekend! So I get my Lonely Planet I read about cities around Madrid and I decided to get the car and drive all around Castilla León!

Safaris in Amboseli, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Manyara, and 4 days in Zanzibar. I recommend to visit these parks to everyone and if you like photography you will go nuts!

If you guys came to Spain and I had to recommend you the best cities, I would surely recommend you to visit Salamanca!Beautiful and impressive buildings, very clean and the best atmosphere. Toledo, Madrid, Segovia, Avila, Salamanca and Santiago de Compostela (in that order) are a "must-visit" if you really want to get an idea on how Spain is! check the photos, you will not regret it!

Who said there is no sea in Madrid? Just to show you are wrong, I drove for 45 minutes to visit “El Mar de Madrid”!. If you are staying for a long period of time in Madrid, or you live in the big city, plan a one day trip to visit “El Pantano de Atazar”, you will not regret it! There are no beaches, but you have confortable spots all around the pond where you can sunbathe and have a good time. Plus, I am including a review of the best restaurant around! With views to the sea! ;)

My next trip is a photo safari to Tanzania. I bought new equipment and I wanted to test it before getting there so... (don´t laugh)... I decided to go to the zoo and pretend I was in Africa hahah taking pictures of all animals... dressed like an explorer with my 100-400 lens... I also took my monfrotto there... People looked at me funny, but it was fun... I am uploading some pictures I took...

This Saturday I was in Sitges and I decided I would go to Barcelona to take some pictures and share them with the community! Barcelona is a beautiful city, you just have to choose a good tour guide! My family lives there so everytime I visit them I will add new photos and reviews!

This weekend I went to visit my parents in Sitges, so I decided to start a blog about this beautiful town! :)
