things to do/see while in BA Travel Reviews

Jun 20, 2006

hey!

well i don't really know what kind of person you are when it comes to visiting a city but there are LOTS of things to do and see in BA. its one of my favorite cities in the whole world. i love the culture, i love the people, i love the food, i love the city. watch out for all the smoking though. it might be called "buenos aires" but the air is not so good lol. umm i definitely reccomend visiting plaza de mayo. great place to start. the BA zoo is really nice as well. interesting assortment of animals. The market in San Telmo and Recoleta is really great for sovenier shopping. La Malba is one of the best museams at least when i was there because they have an incredible exhibit of Xul Solar. you have to visit Recoleta and have fun finding the tomb of Evita. A football game either Boca Juniors or River Plate (although im more of a Boca Juniors fan myself in the Bonbonera) is also a must. While in Boca, be careful but visit las caminitas. Very cool although kinda smaller than I expected. Lots of GREAT food around. night life is excellent as well. nice to just stroll along puerto madero or walk up and down 9 de Julio. Try and see a show at the opera. sorry to be a bit vague on stuff but there is so much to go and see. Plaza Cerrano and the bars in Palermo Hollywood are very nice. try a guide book for somemore tips. hope this helps. ciao!

p.s. these are just some of the things I did when i was there. There is a WHOLE other side to BA. you just have to meet the people and find out. they are all VERY friendly. if you are looking for more specific tips, please send me a message and i'll try to see if i can help you anymore...
