TravBuddy Success Stories and Testimonials

Katie and I met up via travbuddy in Munich. We explored the town for a bit and then met some of my friends at the Oktoberfest tents. Once we made our way into the tents, we met some nice German guys that let us sit at their table.

Katie is terrific. She is fun, well traveled and a great person.

Amber and I met up in Milan (via travbuddy) for a rainy day of exploring. Unfortunately, it was a Monday and all museums were closed. We saw what was open and then holed up in a wine bar to get out of the rain (it was pouring all day).

Amber made a miserable day awesome. She's great company and very easy to get along with.

Met at Chinatown on a very hot afternoon. Bleaah ! I only wish the weather was much nicer. This was after a few phone message exchanges which I hope didn't bankrupt the guy.

If you think this chap is anything like a scoundrel from his travel blogs. My, you are mistaken. Or maybe I was too scary and basically intimidated him. Oops ! What a bad hammie I've been. He's a great chap to be with. Most amicable fellow, probably a hit with ladies. I didn't hang around at the bar to watch him in action though. (cancel that, think he's got somebody somewhere already) ;)

After several months we finally were able to meet and hang out for a fun filled evening of Ruston, LA!! :P

Carlos is great company! He is super friendly, smart and funny! You can easily have an 8 hr conversation with him and not even notice that 8 hrs went by! He is very openminded and made for a very good Ruston tour guide! :P

We had the opportunity to meet Julie at a mini meetup in the Sacramento area. We had plans to meet another TB member who was flying in from England and asked if she would like to join us. She has been to other meetups and jumped at the chance again. And when she found out where we were going to eat lunch she was thoughtful enough to bring her father along because she knew he liked to eat there. We had nearly three hours of enjoyment, eating, talking and smiling.

Julie is a dog lover, which makes her okay in my book, and is easy to speak with. She is also intelligent, warm, and very down to earth. I think she would be a real kick to travel with! :)

We had the opportunity to meet Gianina when she flew for a short few days into the Sacramento area. We drove the four hours for a luncheon mini meetup with her and another TB member. We were able to spend two to three hours meeting, chatting, eating, laughing and really enjoying ourselves. The drive was very worthwhile!

Gianina is a wonderful young lady, young enough to be my daughter, who has had lots of adventures, travels, and is full of life and ready to meet any challenge. She is intelligent, good looking, athletic, and winks with the best of them. Unfortunately, she is about two inches shorter than she should be. :)
I'd be more than pleased to travel with her and my wife as long as she had her own room. LOL

We drove the four hours to meet her and another TravBuddy member in the Sacramento area for a mini-meetup. We all went to lunch together and Julie was able to bring her Dad with to join us. We spent two or three hours chatting and giggling and thoroughly enjoying ourselves. Well worth the drive!!

Julie has been to several meet ups and when we asked if she would like to join us she jumped at the chance. She is a down to earth nice, caring person and is a credit to TravBuddy. I think she'd be a fun person to travel with.

We had a chance to meet her while she was staying for a few days in the Sacramento area. We made the four hour drive to have a mini-meetup with her and another TravBuddy member. We all went to lunch together. Two or three hours of fun and conversation. Very enjoyable! Well worth the drive!!

Gianina is a warm and intelligent person who comes across with a smile on her face and wicked little glint in her eye. She seems ready for anything and loves adventure. I think it would be a blast to travel with her. :D

We hanged out together in Ruston, LA. It was a very fun night! It didn't matter that it was Monday night! :D

Amber is my favorite Travbuddy girl! She's spontaneous, charming and extremely vivacious and energetic! I like people with ideals and commited to their goals and there is not better example than Amber. She's inspiring!

Judy and Roger (xdrive) have driven three hundred odd miles to meet me near Sacramento.

Judy is a charming lady, full of life and so very sweet...
They say behind every great man there is a even greater woman (or something like that) and it's true, for Judy is a great person!
I have really enjoyed meeting them both and should you get to meet Judy you'll know what I mean when I say she is just lovely.
