I met the wonderful Wendy at the 2009 Belize meet up.

Wendy just has one of those vivacious personalities that makes you want to spend time talking and hanging out with her. She was gracious enough to introduce us to her dive friends, one of whom took special care of me during my 1st snorkeling experience! Since she's been to Belize a few times, it was awesome having her take us around and show us all of what Belize has to offer!

I had such a great time with her on this trip and am looking forward to next month when she joins us for our Mexico cruise! :)

I first met Julie at a small TBer dinner party at Erin's (poohstanggt) house in Sacramento in 2008. Julie and I both ended up at the fabulous 2008 Amsterdam NYE Meetup (best party ever!), and spent a couple days sightseeing with each other and other friends. We're don't live too far from each other in Sacramento, and she hosted (and I cooked) a party for Erin when we heard about her engagement to Brett (metsbwd).

Julie is great fun! She's down-to-earth, great sense of humor, and always friendly and in a good mood. She's a hostel kind of girl to get the most out of her travel experiences, and enjoys seeing all the attractions a city has to offer. A wonderful travel compansion!

I met Miss J for the first time at Houston airport prior to our flight to Belize and our week long TB meet up

Why? Because Jackie is one of a kind. She's so friendly, including, almost always smiling, so not afraid to speak her mind, and she has the most uplifting personality I've had the pleasure to meet. She always does her best to take care of everybody.. and I mean EVERYBODY! She's just on amazing gal... and I love her southern accent. I can still hear her 'y'all'... and wish I could say it like she does. Might have to get her to teach me that.. hehe
She's also very open, has a great outlook on life and has a little of a crazy side to her. Which just adds to all the positive traits she possesses.

Erin and I originally met in LA for a Travel Buddy Meet-up. Can't remember if I vouched for her before so I am doing so now : )...We met up again just recently at the 2009 Belize Travel Buddy Meet-up.

Erin is great fun. I really enjoyed hanging out and spending time with her in Belize and then shortly after in Vegas.I wished she lived closer but I know we will have more adventures together. Stick with the diving Erin as I would love to dive with you in Belize someday.

Angelica and I met at the 2009 Belize Travel Buddy Meet-up.

Angelica has a sunny disposition and gets really happy after a few Rum punches...LOL. She kept leaving her shoes but they always managed to track her down. It was great meeting her and I hope to see her again in the not too distant future. Stay with the diving and get certified girl.

Marshall and I met at the 2009 Belize Travel Buddy Meet-up

Marshall has a true love for communicating with the locals and prefers to take the road less traveled. I had the pleasure of meeting Marshall my 1st day in Placencia by taking a Monkey River boat cruise with him and a few others. Marshall and I also went diving outside the reef at Tackelbox and Spotted Eagle Ray Canyon.

Bart and I met for the 1st time at the 2009 Belize Travel Buddy meet-up

Bart is a lot of fun to hang out with. I got to know him my 1st day in Placencia when we went on a boat tour down the Monkey river. We had a great time and I considered him a friend from that day on. Bart, we definitely need to take another trip to Belize and this time we will dive together. If you have the pleasure of meeting Bart ask him to show you some of his signature dance moves...LOL.

Dalmia and I met at the 2009 Belize Travel Buddy Meet-up

Dalmia is a beautiful soul that if I had not known better would have mistaken her for a Belizean beauty. Dalmia is a real trooper and I was really proud of her for facing her fear of the water and overcoming it. She does not swim yet but she went snorkeling with sharks (with a life preserver). GO Dalmia. We had a very unpleasant bumpy boatride which she also handled very well considering she has a fear of the water and hadn't been on a boat before. I look forward to traveling with Dalmia again soon.

Liz and I met when we both attended the Belize 2009 Travel Buddy Meet-up

Liz and I 1st got to know each other online a bit before we met in LA to share a hotel and catch a plane to Belize early in the AM. Liz helped organize the meet-up and is a great person and friend to hang out with. After Belize, she came and stayed with me a few days in Big Bear, Ca before we headed to Casa Del Sals in Las Vegas, NV.
