Had a mini meet up at Irvine Spectrum and went to dinner at PF Chang's

I met Quest...aka Liz, aka 'blondee' at Casa de Sal's in bubbly and vivacious Las Vegas. We journeyed to the much desired IHOP for a delectible smothered chicken dinner, while she feasted on a breakfast egg special. At Casa de Sal's, we opened our laptops and side by side reviewed our daily TravBuddy messages, and awaited Sake Brother Sal's return from work, for a night of shopping and out on the town, before Liz's return to Norway.

I ask myself that A LOT! Ahahhahahhahahahha! But seriously, Liz is great fun, a super person to be around, that one cannot help but have a terrific time with. And, she has been like EVERYWHERE in the world, so is a great travel resource and fun person to travel with (well, if only to IHOP on this occasion...there will be other occasions!)

I met Mike at Sal's place and we got to spend a little time together

Mike is a wonderful, sweet and genuine guy and our time together was way too short. We talked the whole time we were together and he's so much fun to be around.

Thanks for breakfast, sweetie and thanks for our talks. Can't wait to see you again, my friend :o))

A dinner time meeting up during my traveling in Istanbul in end of October.

She is a reliable,humble and friendly Turkish girl I have met in Istanbul.Let me leave nice impression with the city and the people.

Whoa - how did we meet? Errrr.... way way way back I got talking to JeAr on the walls, but then internet blocks got in the way. few bits of banter in the forums quickly led to a big group of friends having fun and all eventually meeting in Thailand and Laos.

I first met JeAr at the FMP, but travelling as part of a small group to Chiang Mai, BKK, an onto Laos (Vang Vieng and Luang Prabang). Brilliant parts of the whole trip for me, and of course after that i was always going to pop by Manilla as well (3 times actually!), and we did another mini-travel as a group to Taal Volcano and Pagsanjan Falls.

JeAr - oh man, where do I start? I find this guy brilliant fun. He used to make me crack up so much via the forums and email, I knew he'd be hilarious in person as well. Great to travel with - very laid back and up for seeing/doing as much as poss. It was actually a bit weird not travelling with JeAr after he had to leave LP for BKK after a good couple of weeks.

He's a brilliant host as well. Always up for meeting in Manilla for some food and drinks. He organised a meet up for me and Najiah finally getting over to the Phils and managed to gather a great group of people together for that.

I'll be travelling with JeAr time and time again - in fact we seem to have a few plans already forming. I already class him as one of my very very good friends.

I was about to stay at the Subang airport till morning, coz my flight to KL was delayed... I was a bit afraid of going alone to my hostel at night. but this kind, decent young man (me sounds like an old lady, hahaa) offered to fetch me from there. next day we met up and I had my first nasi lemak, lol.
oh yeah, I gotta say that he's a really good photographer!! (at least for me, ehehe)

Sam visited me in Cairns, we have travelled together and then invited me to Dunk Island.

I had a great stay with Sam on Dunk Island! He is so welcoming and made my stay very special! I have been introduced to all his friends and felt like being part of his life, which was great. He can absolutely be trusted and is so much fun to be with! Thanks mate :-)
