Got a water taxi (Smoke Wagon - cool name, cool outfit) across the Bay from Homer for a great couple of days of hiking up to glaciers, camping out on baeches (watching out for bears) and kayaking in stunning waters in and out of islands. Saw loads of wildlife - air, sea and land, and loved it all!

Clayton Beach is part of Larrabee State Park. It's a great place to visit when the tides are extreme (and out). During this time, it's a wonderful place to rock climb and study wild mussels, barnacles and baby crabs The water has also formed interesting patterns in the rocks.
