Like many things about Perth, the zoo has lots of animals, but has the feeling of a small z. In all I spent approximately two hours walking through the zoo and was able to see all the displays.
Highlights of my visit included an elephant demonstration, which had two of the zoo's elephants doing …

The Maritim Museum is composed by several ships. This is some of those :
- The Star Of India, the older ship that still sails (and I think the most beautiful)
- The HMS Surprise, a replica of a 18th century Royal Navy frigate. Maybe some of you will recognize the boat used in the movie Master and …

Manly is very easy to get to from Sydney CBD. Just catch the ferry to see some wonderful sights on the way and after a 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal you are on the beach!
It stretches quite far which means you tend to have more space to lie on the beach compared to the Eastern Suburb bea…

Worth the cost. Its a 3.5 hour ride, so make sure you have company (friends, partner or books?!). The size of the boat was not obvious from the boarding point (feels like boarding a plane). It is only when i saw the space inside that i realized its size.Quite an excellent journey!

It has a double shower and a hot tub. The free champagne isn't much to write home about. With HBO and a hot tub you can survive even ugly weather. And in good weather, it's close to beaches (just a few miles drive), restaurants and clubs and bars (walking distance), and a ferry ride to Martha's V…
