The weather is good during the summer, but God help you if it's raining. Graiguenamanagh is definitely a cool drink by the river on a hot day kind of place. Indoors there isn't that much to do... even with 16 pubs in the town... so unless you like walking or fishing in the rain, choose your time car...

well as for hostels. you could try the wombat. they have 2 more in vienna that i stayed at and they were great. they are super safe and clean. but do make sure to book a few months ahead. the closer it gets to oktoberfest the busier it'll get. if you want to look up more choices you can go to hostel...

Sharing Planet is a wooden building that gives you very nice view of green and serves you nice food.
The sharing hours are 6pm-11pm everyday except Wednesday.
