The Stanley Park seawall is something everyone can enjoy when they visit Vancouver. Whether or not you're a runner, walker, biker, skateboarder, inline skater etc., you'll enjoy this part of the park. It's approximately 9km all the way around the Stanley Park portion. Expanded in the late seventies/…

Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden is one of the must-see attractions in Vancouver. I had never been to a Chinese Garden before. I really liked it there, because it was pretty relaxing to sit on a bench and enjoy the view. Fortunately, when I visited it, there were not many people around.

If you want to go out clubbing, Granville st. has some really good places like Caprice, Plush, Au Bar, Tonic (they pretty much play top 40) If you're more into live rock music then The Roxy or the Cellar are good. I'm not sure which places are good to stay but I know there're some hostels on Granvil…

Joe Fortes is an oldie but goodie located in the middle of downtown Vancouver's Robson street district. They've got fresh seafood and are known for their great selection of oysters.
Great place to hang after a show or for a get together. Very charming place.

This is one of the best Hilton hotels in which I've ever stayed, and I've stayed in a lot of them (I'm a Diamond HHonors member). I saw an award in the lobby that recognized the hotel as the "#1 rated Hilton" in the entire chain - and it is deserving of this honor!
Service was excellent. Check-in…

This is the club that Melissa and I went to for our 19th birthday party extravaganza! I really liked this place. There was a house band that would play covers of really good songs but there was also a dj and they would alternate. It is also a club that puts on shows so it's a good place for people w…

Stayed here for 3 nights. The room was clean, nice lobby, free wireless internet. My credit card was charged for local calls.
I chose this hotel as it was walking distance to everywhere I needed to be.
The restaurants located inside are expensive. Would recommend it if your on a budget.

One of my favorite local mountains, I do the grind twice a week in spring and summer. If you love hiking and mountains then you will love the Grouse grind, 15 minutes away from downtown Vancouver, great work out and a nice view, the restaurant on top is also nice.

All the hot spots are located downtown on Granville St. I estimate there to be about 13+ bars and night clubs on Granville. My favorite spot was
Caprice Nightclub
967 Granville Street
Vancouver BC, V6Z 1L3, Canada
It can't compare with On Broadway or The Ivy in San Diego. However, the pe…

I live in Vancouver and just have to rave about Goldfish Pacific Kitchen. This is one of the newest restaurants in Vancouver's Yaletown district. It's an upscale hangout with great west coast dishes like Rack of Lamb, Ribeye Steaks and Seared Scallops with Mango Salsa.
