Ediburgh has a lot to offer in terms of Nightlife entertainment and an enjoyable day out. The area provides plenty of educational visits around the city as well as fun. I definately recommend going on the Mercat Ghost tours as it was quite scary if you used your imagination. I was quite dissapointed...

Edinburgh castle is the first tourist "must see" that you will see in all brochures about Edinburgh. I personally find it abit pricey (11 pounds) but the castle is really nice and it gives you a nice view on big part of the city. You can spend few hours walking around the castle, checking out exhibi...

I have wanted to see Mary King's Close for quite a while and it has been by far the best Ghost Tour I have seen. There is alot of history involved with so even if you don't like the scart aspect there is still a lot to keep you interested. Now it depends on if you believe or not but I can tell you...

The city of Edinburgh is one of the most beautiful places I have been able to experience. Other than a bad encounter with a hot dog (which was claiming to be the BEST hot dog in the world) I love everything about the city.
Unlike America, it is very historical. I love visiting a place with so much ...

I only stayed at the Balmoral one night so was not able to make use of all its facilities. The gym and spa looked really nice and I did not eat at any of there restuarants.
The cost is so high, so I would say stay here only if you are looking to endulge. The room was nice, bed was only a double...

We stayed in this hotel (converted student housing) in March of 07 and have no complaints. This place is only a few minutes walk to the Royal mile, Edinburgh castle..etc. The room was small but clean and was the only place that we could find without a shared bathroom within the same price range. The...

In the heart of Edinburgh, an affordable, pretty secure, very basic room directly on the Royal Mile, only a 5 minute walk (downhill!) to Waverley Station (or 5 minutes uphill FROM Waverley, DOH!!!)
Right on Hunter Square... oops wait that's not a plus. Can you say "ASBO"? I couldn't, until the Me...
