Most Memorable Travel Experience
Traveling is so exciting it is hard to name the most memorable.

I have had many memorable snorkeling experiences in warm waters with lots of colorful fishes, some scuba diving in crystal clear seas exploring the underwater world, and some interesting bus trips (with 3 of the buses breaking down).

The most depressing was possibly having my flight get totally canceled when I was heading to Honduras for my winter getaway and having to change a lot of my plans. There were no flights available for 3 days and I had to fly into a diferent city in Honduras, visit a diferent city than was in my original plans, and then have to take a 4 hour bus ride and then a ferry boat to my original destination city to pick back up on my original itinerary. It all turned out great though.
Profile
I love to travel to satisfy my needs to see diferent cultures. I tend to go to warm places in the winter to go snorkeling and take sea kayaking trips. But hey we live in a pretty amazing country (yes the good old USA) with lots of amazing scenery and landscapes, so an old fashioned road trip is fun too.

I have done a lot of traveling by myself, which is good and bad. As a solo traveler you can make your own plans and stick to them but you never get the chance to share you times with someone. I have found that solo travelers usually have a better chance to meet other travelers. I have met a lot of interesting people along the way whereas if I had been absorbed in traveling with a travel partner I might have been less into interacting with other travelers.

Thailand in 2008
Jan 06, 2008 - Jan 25, 2008
I traveled to Thailand for 3 weeks to experience the culture and scenic beauty and found some amazing stuff. The fun started in Bangkok, I then headed south to enjoy some tropical Islands in Tarutau National Park and then headed north to Chaing Mai. I found great food and great places.

Honduras 2007: Mainland and Roatan
Mar 19, 2007 - Mar 31, 2007
Honduras is a beautiful country of tropical beaches and culture on the mainland. My trip began in San Pedro Sula and went to the Ruins at Copan and then I went to the island of Roatan in the Caribean to go on a 7 day sea kayaking tour.
