On the top floor of the MBK/Tokyu-mall (444 Phayathai road, near Siam square, Bangkok) all the Thai movies are subtitled in English.
One of the movies I saw, gave me extra information to understand the history and importance of cultural sites. ( www.khankluay-themovie.com ) An other was a comedy based on a Thai comic. It -though funny itself- made the crowd especially hilarious to watch. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noo_Hin:_The_Movie ) But how much you enjoy this tip, depends mostly on the choosen movie. P.S. Bring some warm clothes!
