If you want to go out clubbing, Granville st. has some really good places like Caprice, Plush, Au Bar, Tonic (they pretty much play top 40) If you're more into live rock music then The Roxy or the Cellar are good. I'm not sure which places are good to stay but I know there're some hostels on Granville st. and that is close to everything. There're bunch of nice hotels by the water near Canada place if you prefer to stay at a nicer place. Oh and Robson st. is a place to check out some restaurants, shopping, and beautiful people lol. And don't forget to take a walk around the sea wall. Enjoy your stay!

Nice, I thought, thanks for the info. now everyone is getting anxious/nervous! His words echoed a nervousness within me but I just sat back and crossed my fingers!
It's now 8:30pm, 4 hrs have now passed since the flight should have taken off, things seemed to be looking… Vancouver, B.C.'s landing was a great and I was now full of excitement...to arrive in Hong Kong!!! |

We hopped off in Chinatown (alas, we forgot out "critical info" paper with our friend's phone number on it) and had lunch in "the largest restaurant in the world" or something like that. It sat 1000 people! The Floata Restaurant's Chinese dim sum and sticky rice dishes were delicious!

…Vancouver earlier to enjoy the city, hopefully with snow this time, but I had heard that it doesn't really snow in downtown much, just more rain. After 2 to 3 days in the city, I can head up to Whistler and enjoy one of the best places to snowboard, if not the best! Thanks for reading! Let me know if you want more info on Vancouver or Whistler.
