Most Memorable Travel Experience
Recently, a trip to Koh Pha Ngan and Koh Tao with my fiance, which was followed by my brother's week-long wedding celebrations in Koh Chang. Yeah for Thai islands!

Spending my birthday in Amsterdam with my bro & co, Harold & Kumar style.

Living in Siena, Italy for 4 months studying Italian. Che bella citta!

The Galapagos Islands on a family trip when I was 12. Simply put - once in a lifetime! (Though I'm hoping to go back:)

All my trips to Stockholm over the years - each one memorable in its own way.

A week in Paris with my mom one spring. Magical. Good food, cool stuff to see and best of all, good company.

Learning how to bareback ride elephants in the Golden Triangle at a posh resort with my best friend Sue.

Driving across Canada from Toronto to Vancouver in my super crappy 12-year-old Mazda 323 with my other best friend Janet. The ultimate road trip.

Going to Xian, China with my dad my senior year of high school. He worked throughout China for 15 years, so talk about going off the beaten path...

And every other time I've packed my bags and set off on an adventure... It's the stuff that life's made of.

I can't imagine not travelling. I've been doing it since I was born and intend to continue as long as I can. Some people buy fancy cars, designer clothes or big screen TVs. I indulge in travel. Though usually of the budget variety. :)

I'm a global nomad. I love the immersion experience that only comes with living somewhere. There are a ton of places that I would be into living and only time will tell where this adventure called life is going to take me. I'm lucky to have an awesome partner to share in this adventure who is just as open to the crazy world as I am. Definitely makes it more fun to have a partner in crime!

I'm currently living and working in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I've been here just over two and a half years now. I teach and work on some other projects as well. I've been learning a lot more about ethical and sustainable travel and am a lot more aware of the impact that my travels have on the local communities and environment. So I'm trying to do the best thing I can do, which is to educate myself so that I can make informed decisions. And from what I've learned, I'm not alone!

p.s. If you're looking for travel advice on Chiang Mai or Thailand in general, please feel free to contact me. Don't know if I'll be able to help, but always willing to try!

Hi, thanks for the tips! I will definitely be ckecking that area out for hostels. Will also look you up if you are still in Chiand Mai when I get there. Unsure of what direction to head first so will probably decide when I get there. Sounds like you might be a good person to hook up with for a bit of a dance. ;)
Speak soon, thanks again.

That would be great. Any tips on cool places to stay or go would be amazing. Really kind of you to offer. Maybe we can meet up in Chiang Mai if you are there when I get there. x
