Now they change secretly the pinmachine on the counter in a store! This is becomming a big problem now.
Eurojust has arrested 24 people today! So a good catch!

They have found a new way to skimm. In Emmeloord in holland they put a camera in the upperfloor directly pointing at the pinmachine. This is not the one you collect money but to pay your bill in a store!! So PUT YOUR HAND OVER THE MACHINE!

I have written about this subject before, but to get your attention this is the second time. There is a warning for skimming on the dutch cashmachines or the machines where you buy your train tickets. They put a little "mouth" on the machine, so they can copy your account, or they film it. So cover the numbers you are typing with your hand. Or better, go inside a bank to collect your money. The NS(dutch train company) is trying to solve this problem. So be carefull, and check the machine you are going to use !!

Today 10th of July 2 people where arrested by trying to make a cashmachine ready for skimming, this hapened in Presikhaaf Arnhem

Ongeveer 30.000 mensen zijn vorig jaar in Nederland slachtoffer geworden van pinpasfraude, oftewel skimmen. Dat zijn er bijna 85 per dag. Deze cijfers komen van de Nederlandse Bank.

Skimmen is het plegen van fraude met een pinpas waarbij codes en gegevens gekopieerd worden. Meestal wordt voor skimming een pinautomaat in een onbewaakt ogenblik 'bewerkt', zodat een klant die een transactie verricht niet merkt dat zijn gegevens gekopieerd worden. De fraudeurs, vaak Roemeense bendes, weten steeds weer nieuwe trucs te bedenken om veiligheidsmaatregelen te omzeilen.

In Gelderland waren de afgelopen maanden onder meer in Arnhem, Nijmegen, Ede, Harderwijk, 'T Harde en Wageningen gevallen van skimmen. De Gelderse hoofdstad is een van de meest gevaarlijke steden van Nederland als het gaat om pinpasfraude. (Arnhem is one of the most dangerous places when it comes to skimming!)
