Most Memorable Travel Experience
I studied abroad while in college. I lived in London for 5 months and traveled to 10 countries in that time. (Scotland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, and Greece.) Best experience of my life.

Profile
I just finished my student teaching. I'm looking for a teaching job, but if I don't find one locally, the world is my oyster. I am eager to teach English abroad, possibly Spain, Argentina, or somewhere in Africa, maybe Ethiopia.

"The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page." ~St. Augustine

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." ~Mark Twain

"We are all travelers in the wilderness of this world, and the best we can find in our travels is an honest friend." ~Robert Louis Stevenson

"Here's to lying, cheating, stealing and drinking. If you lie, may you lie in the arms of a lover. If you cheat, may you cheat death. If you steal, may you steal some one's heart. And if you drink, may you always drink with me. Slainte!"

Hey Steve, the Kingston-Edmonds ferry is much better - for one you don't need to drive into downtown Seattle, which is tough in the morning :)

My Summer of Local Travel
May 30, 2008
The goal is to see what I can within the New England area. Since gas is high and money getting tighter, it's time to get creative and go local.

Athens
Apr 16, 2008
Studying abroad, I was fortunate to go to one of the most historic areas of the world. Athens was a city of opposites. While very historic and beautiful, it was also dilapidated to an extent and dirty.
