santa maria apartments

on arrival ok, we had a 3 bedroom apartment, but after viewing found the main bathroom to be very tiny with broken shower door, and ensuit bathroom to be more than double the size. my brother who had a studio apartment next door but one, found it filthy and over-run with ants. whilst there on our second night, in the early hours my daughter and sister were attacked, it was an attempted mugging, where my daughter was dragged down the outside steps of the hotel on her back,and my sister was pushed so hard she broke her hip, when my daughter finally managed to get away from her attacker, she ran into the hotel shouting she had been attacked and to call the police. only to be told to be quiet as there were people trying to sleep. my daughter then ran up to our room to alert us of the situation, leaving my sister outside unable to move, where-as the security guard kept telling her to get up off the floor, and she kept repeatingly telling him she could'nt move. eventually the police where called but were no help as no one could identify the attacker. no one at the hotel was at all helpful, and everything was kept as quite as possible, they even refused to knock at our room to pass on messages from the hospital were my sister was taken. in all its not a hotel i will be staying at again.
