We did enjoy Turkish land,people and relaxed pace. Getting into Greece was a little different. Especially mainland.Good roads made us think of England and most of the rest of Europe.

We camped rough (against the law!) for the first night but we were very tired and depserate.A good spot away from sight of the road and facing up the mountains,nice.

samothraki is an island with canyons and waterfalls where you can swim,named vathres!this island has also very special energy because it is a volcano! nature is breathtaking there.. its really like paradise with clean and cool water into the woods!!!!!climbing there is not very difficult but it has also some dangerous paths! i suggest it to anyone who likes nature and seeing something pure and not trendy!
