Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Today morning I got the confirmation letter that I've been accepted to study in Jyväskylä University of Applied Science in Music and Media Management degree program!!! I'm just very happy about it.

Opening the envelope was again really exciting. You know, having shaking hands and heart beating fast and all that stuff :D and then there it was. I guess I just read the first to lines saying that I got accepted and then just reacted very happily. I was just waiting for one friend of mine to arrive at my place to have breakfast with me and discuss some business stuff and then that letter... wow.

After the first excitement I was actually a bit sad. I'm still moving to new place and that means everything I've built up with last 20 years here. I guess the hardest is to leave behind all these people. All my beloved friends. I know we'll stay in contact but I've grown together with them. They are my second family. And of course my mom, dad and lil' brother. Yeah, I'm a big girl but not very good in leaving stuff. But I'm more than positive that I'll make many great friends in Jyväskylä =)

I guess it's time to end this blog for this time =) Entrance things are done. I'm moving into Finland in the end of July, just before my trip to Rome and right after the trip I'll go back there.
I'm pretty happy right now. Like pretty really happy. Within last one
and half week there has been helluva much to do and it's all done. You
really won't believe how proud I am and how happy

For
a pretty long while I've been wanting to get out of everything going on
over here. Not that it would be boring... I just need a little change.
And the time for that is almost perfect. I've finished with all my VIP
(very important tasks) and ready for a holiday. A time OFF!

So
I just discussed couple of things and set up a time off. On Tuesday
evening or Thursday morning, not sure yet, I'll catch a ship at Tallinn
and go to Helsinki. My very much loved Helsinki!!! And this time
there's no way back I've been wanting to go there for a really long while but all the time something has ruined it and I haven't been able to go.

I
already put my camera batteries on charge because I've planned to spend
one day shooting photos and doing nothing else besides it! Sounds
exciting! At least for me The other day I want to go shopping because I need some stuff... mostly a winter jacket. So H&M, you are warned!

I
also hope I can step by at a book store because there are couple of
books I want to buy and I'm pretty sure they are cheaper in Finland.
Oh! And a music shop! No, no, wait on you girl, no spending too much
unless you'll win a lottery in a day or two.

Today morning I was about to wake up and get out of my bed when my mum entered my room and said that the letter I've been waiting for is here. Plus couple of more postcards from the Postcrossing project. Ah, that was a really exciting feeling to know that the letter is here. The letter that will inform me if I'm invited to do entrance examination of Jyväskylä UAS, Degree Programm in Music and Media Management.

I really didn't bother to get out of the bed to open the letter. Eyes still sleepy I opened the envelope. And I even couldn't read the letters because noticing that there's a map included with the letters I was sure I'm invited to the entrance examination! And I was right! So on 24th of April there will be the first examination and on 25th of April the second part. I truely hope I'll make it to the second part because I think the second part examination is more like my thing (personal interview! If there's one thing on Earth I'm really good at then that's the interview). But well, my portfolio/cv isn't very bad either. It's actually pretty nice :D so yeah, I'll do everything I can to be one of the 40 persons choosed to study Music and Media Management.

After sending out all the stuff needed for applying I thought I won't get a reply... I thought they won't accept me anyway because I was afraid that the translation of my secondary education certificate isn't good enough. But it was!

So now I'm already planning my journey to Jyväskylä. I already have a ferry ticket from Tallinn to Helsinki and back for free (thanks to one really dear friend of mine). I just took a look at the trains from Helsinki to Jyväskylä and sent out a few e-mails to get accomodation.

I just have to say that accomodation for two nights with breakfast will probably be cheaper than two-way train tickets on route Helsinki-Jyväskylä...

I guess I'll spend a few time in Helsinki as well. I can't get back on Friday so I guess I'll stay at my dad's tiny apartment and return on Saturday. Just have to decide if I'll catch the morning ferry or the one taking off in evening.

Anyway, I'm really excited! Like a little girl who just got a new doll to play with! :D

The only thing I truely dislike about travelling is packing the stuff. I just can't decide which stuff to take with me and what to leave home.
My clothes suitcase is almost full and there are few more clothing items I want to take with me not to talk about some basic cosmetics! But I comfort myself with the fact that I always forget something home :D
So just wish me luck that I'll finish packing as soon as possible because we'll leave home very early tomorrow morning and I should sleep a little.
