When we all eventually woke up we had to pack up and clean up. Surprisingly packing didnt take too long at all. Clean up was very quick too. Everything was going really well.

We even had some spare time to mess about in the snow again while we waited for our taxi's arrive.

Our taxi's showed up on time. The owner of the place was happy when we gave back the keys. The taxi got us to the airport much quicker than we thought. Those of us who had money (everyone except for myself & Tom) went and got some food to waste away the time. Was good fun looking through all the cameras and see how many embarassing photos were taken of you.

As I was once again stood in the airport built by Lego and having not made it to Legoland, I decided to finally take a photo of the gigantic lego glode hanging from the ceiling. Just before I took my photo there was a little kid stood beneath it looking up in childlike wonder and awe. As always happens with such moments, the kid looked away just before I took it...

After a brief wheelchair race, they left the wheelchairs unattended what were we supposed to do, we got to the check-in desk with plenty of time to spare.

At the check-in desk is where the story gets interesting. As I approached the desk and the lady looked at my passport, I suddenly got the feeling that everything was not right. My name wasnt on the passenger list. Shit. Tom walked up. His name wasnt there either.

Mark, our fearless leader who had organised the trip, had some questions to answer. He booked the wrong flight home. We were apparently not meant to get off the flight. If you notice the Ryanair website gives a warning message now if you try to do this. Thats because of us.

We had to split the cost of new flights across 6 credit cards!!

It went from being a fantastic cheap weekend to being a fantastic yet damn expensive weekend in about 5 minutes!

We may have to look into getting a new tour leader for the next Runamuck Tours mystery trip, although he DID do a fantastic job up until that moment.

The plan was to wake up early today, and actually some of the girls did make it down as far as the bakery and buy some fresh bread for all us. We eventually got up and between Briody, me & Canning, breakfast was cooked. I think Searlait helped out a little too. Breakfast went down a treat. Then it was back out into the snow once more. It was a proper winter wonderland. We failed once again to have a White Christmas in Ireland, at least now we could have a White Easter.

We just strolled around town which yet again appeared abandoned. We soon found ourselves sitting in a bar. We could tell the bar did not have too many tourists coming their way. The woman behind the bar hated us. Lucky there was a Danish couple sat behind us that were obsessed with Tom and decided that I was descended from the Vikings. He was less impressed when I told him that my ancestor, Brian Boru, was the man that defeated the Vikings in the Battle of Clontarf. The bought us a round and I got them one back. There were 9 of us!! They kept asking us for a song. Once they got us started it was hard to shut us up!

Hunger soon got the better of us so we set off in search of one of the many many Italians that we had seen yesterday. They were all full. ALL of them. How?? A few hours ago the city seemed to be abandoned! Where do the people go during the day? Seriously. We felt as though we were missing out. We came across a mexican restaurant (see my below review). There were no seats but the amazingly hot waitress suggested we wait next door in the Irish bar. The barman was so shocked to have Irish people that we gave us a free round of shots. We did promise to come back but the queue was too large later.

Dinner was beautiful. Seriously I wasnt lying in my review. At first I didnt think there was enough on our plates but it was just the right amount. Thats what I love about Mexican food, you're never too bloated afterwards. Subtly, each of us lads tried to let the waitress know that we were interested but the fact that the 3 of us were there with 6 girls, she clearly assumed that we must be with the girls....and yes that is the excuse that I am holding on to for her not meeting us later on as she promised.

Again, we went back home to get changed and have plenty of fun and more than a few drinks. We opted for more drinking games and settled on Kings. What a quality drinking game so long as someone stays sober enough to remember the rules and what each card stands for. Things got messy, quickly......

When we regained the ability to walk again, we set of back down the hill to find a bar or two. Halfway down two taxis pulled up and so could take 7 or 8 of us. To this day I will never understand why myself and Tom did not try to find ourselves a taxi and instead we decided to run all the way there!! We did beat one of the taxi's so I guess that sort of justified it. The barman messed up my order and gave me 5 trebles instead of 2, I decided not to complain.

Had so much fun in this bar. I think I will let the photos tell the rest.

So back in 2007 at Easter, Louise had a major party in her house after work. The only survivors the next morning were myself, Searlait, Louise and of course Briody. After breakfast I had the wonderfully stupid idea of going to the airport and jumping on the first plane moving to anyway...the cheapest flight was to Edinburgh for €300 oneway!!

This year, Canning realised that everyone back home would be gone away Easter weekend, so rather than spending it alone, he decided to organise a trip. The plan was to do what we wanted to do last year but planned properly. He picked a place and booked the accomodation. For 2 months we had to see him everyday in work and know that he had a secret over us.

We all arrived one by one, each time trying to guess where we were going. Eventually one of the girls laughed saying that we are prob flying to Billund as that is the only one she hadnt heard of. I said sure thats in Denmark, the airport that was made by Lego. Canning turned around and gave out to me for giving it away. As it turned out, if we had of flown in to Billund, we could have spent the entire weekend not knowing what country we were in!! Ooops

At first we were all dubious of Canning's choice of going to a small city. Then we decided that we had the perfect group coming away with us so we would have fun anywhere we went together. We were staying in what was essentially some guys downstairs. It had a really cool set up. I was really interested by the bunk beds in the sitting room.

When we walked down the hill into town we noticed something odd. In the 15 minutes it took to get there, we hadnt seen anyone. When we got to the main street we had still seen nobody around. It was like something out of a horror movie. Everything was closed. Except for the kebab shops, Italian restaurants and a supermarket called Fukt...brilliant! We stocked up in the supermarket, it was so cheap. We bought a bottle of Jaeger for €13!

After having kebab dinner, just to be healthy, we set off to stroll around the town for a look. We got so badly lost it was almost embarassing. I am fairly certain that we have walked down the same street several times unless the guy who designed the city ran out of ideas early on and just decided to repeat himself.

We eventually made it back to the house and started playing drinking games. I always love playing the name game but you really have to make sure that everybody else knows who the person is. The 3 lads did a Jaeger bomb each but we decided that there was something wrong with the fake red bull so why not just do straight shots of Jaeger? The answer, the were much more than shots. We finished the bottle, after about 4 shots each!! When we set off to find a club, we saw snow. Snow. It was everywhere. So what do a bunch of 23-25 year olds do when the see snow?? Major snow fight!! It got messy but we did somehow manage to make our way to the club without killing ourselves.

Apparently it is illegal to have a top with a hood on it. Who knew?? Not me or Tom. The bouncer took his top but it was ok cause he had a t-shirt on. I didnt, so he tucked the hood in making me look like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Apparently the two police officers who saw me coming in were not pleased with this. I got taken out into the street. Into the snow and the two officers without a word of English, took off my top. Leaving me topless infront of the queue to the nightclub, in the snowy blizzard! Fun times, fun times. They let me back in wearing my jacket.

Such a fun night. The others got a bottle of vodka and some coke. Myslef and Briody just kept ordering the oddest drinks we could think of. At some point one of the girls wanted to go home. I stepped up and did the gentlemanly thing. Im that nice. Im mean sure I used it as an excuse to go back and get changed so that I no longer had to wear my jacket in the nightclub...Im still a nice guy.

Again the snow slowed us down on our homeward bound journey, we just wanted to make the most of it. Briody felt bad about the amount of drink going to waste if we went to bed, so we made the most out if it while the others dropped off like flies!

While in Vejle we went in search of a good restaurant. Most restaurants in town were Italian but we eventually came across this Mexican.

We each ordered something different. It was all delicious. The wine was good. The beer better. The complimentary round of tequila better. That is before I mention how hot the two waitress' were.

I would highly recommend this place if you havent already guessed. The food was very affordable and great quality. I would recommend the chimichanga's.

Tell them Derek sent you (they wont know who Derek is, so probably best not to say it to them).
