As we got back to the house, we saw fog in the valleys after the storms receded.&nbsp; As we were on the way to dinner, i begged to stop at a place where I could shoot a quick photo of the fog.&nbsp; This photo is the result.<br></p>

I'll admit, it feels like the end of my vacation, too, since she has to go back home.&nbsp; It was such a fun week and it just didn't seem to last long enough.&nbsp; I know I've got another couple weeks left, but it's been so much fun having her up here.&nbsp; It's true that time flies when you're having fun.

After that adventurous couple days in the Thousand Islands, we jetted back to our home base.&nbsp; It sure felt good to get a warm shower and a clean change of clothes.&nbsp; It's short lived, though.&nbsp; Tomorrow we're going to Taughannock Falls and then to Rochester to visit my Uncle Frank.

This is really just a journal entry to set a home point for the map so you can see how the travels progress on the map.&nbsp; Maine, NY, is where my grandparents live and will serve as home base while we travel around New York.
