After a great visit to Niagara Falls, it was time to move on. I drove into the edge of the mountains in upstate New York and stayed at the Kayuta Lake Campground in Forestport, NY. The site they assigned to me was very difficult to back into. It was on an angle on a narrow road with trees close on both sides. made it with no damage to the rig. The tree cover was so thick that I could not get a sattelite signal so it was a quiet stay with no TV.

The highlight of this stay on the west side of the Adirondack Mountains was seeing a bear crossing the road near the campground. My stay here was relaxing enjoying nature and away from the crowds.

Summary: Elk RV Parking: 44; Escapee RV Parks: 25; Public RV Parks: 33; National Parks: 49; Ships; 10; Forts: 20

Expenses: 36 months on the road with an average expense of $1958 per month.
