Our feets and back needed to stretch, morning coffee, juice and sandwiches done the rest :o) and we continued our trip by ferry to Skiathos. It was nice morning, Sun come up, beautiful Eagean sea glitered and our feets enjoyed free after whole night in bus :o) on our way to Skiathos :o)

Volos (Greek: Βόλος) is a city situated at the center of the Greek mainland, about 326 km north from Athens and 215 km south from Thessaloniki.

At 8 pm we arrive at the camp 15kms beyond Volos. The town has many ancient ruins but we are about full up with sight seeing suchlike now. With all the vegetables to finish up I make a soup. Many Dutch and German campervans here and we realise from the rego plates that the Dutch seem to be the most adventurous of European nations. It is cheap and part of a discount chain that we have used 3 times now. Mountains rise steeply behind and the snow fileds are only about an hour's drive from here.

Find an English newspaper in Athens and we are devouring every word. Spot an item that tells of reliable intelligence that is pointing to Morocco as having a terrorist attack pending and the UK government has just stopped short of issuing advice that it is only for essential travel. I would have been very dissappointed if we hadn't been able to go there.
