I didn't see too much of the city because I left for the tuscan countryside.

I'm kinda tired right now because I just got through an excursion from Florence and it was hot as hell. We landed in Livorno and then took a tour bus through downtown Italy. Most of it was just sightseeing and shopping, but man that weather was unbearable. After I played ball and pool, my legs practically gave out. Throughout the entire trip, my head was spinning... but that was because of the scorching heat that cast over me. Took a lot of pictures, but for some reason... I didn't get all the pictures I wanted. It's ok... we ate an authentic Italian pizza and a gelato afterwards, and then shopped a little bit more. The ride took about three hours... and everything else after that was short. Florence was very nice... but now I'm off to sleep for the next 10 hours.

Arrive: 6:30am  Depart: 6pm   Firts taste of Italy and the great wine country.  I hope Tuscany can live up to it's reputation.  I hope I can control my diet and wine intake.  My liver will thank me if I succeed.
