Valdosta, Georgia was our next stop and it was kinda special. We were going to see The Crescent Mansion, a gorgeous home built in 1898 that the city now owns and has maintained as a showpiece for it’s town.

But little did we know as we pulled into the parking area that was already quite full that it was a special day for a young couple. They were about to be married in this wonderful setting. We didn’t want to be in the way or disturb them at all so we asked a few people outside. Knowing that the wedding wasn‘t for another half hour we went in and tried to be as invisible as possible. It is such a wonderful home with lots of original period pieces of furniture I had to take lots of pictures. We finally went upstairs to see more and as we went from room to room we realized that the bride was in the Master Bedroom preparing for her big day. Her photographer came out and got a shot of us as we tried to not be nosey or disturb her. Then finally the bride herself came to the door of the bedroom to see what was going on. I wished her all the happiness she could possibly have and asked if she would mind if I took her picture to put up on the internet. She accepted and I took her picture. Then I handed her my TravBuddy card and explained a little about it.

Hopefully, but I’m pretty sure not tonight, she will soon become a member and maybe put up pictures from her wedding and honeymoon. Happiness always, "LittleSecret66"!!!!!
