Yes slowly our PEI adventure was coming to an end. We spent some more time in Charlottetown, catching up on emails, having a look at the shops - the official Anne of Green Gables Store, and Anne of Green Gables Chocolates. They really do know how to capitalise on a good thing, everything is named after Anne - Shining Waters Amusement Park, Kindred Spirits Cottages, there's even an entire brand of AofGG raspberry cordial named after the chapter where Anne & Diana (don't) drink raspberry cordial.

We drove out along the east coast, with very pretty scenery along the way, and stayed at a couple of really nice Provincial Parks - they're the best places to camp, government owned/operated and therefore without all the horrid add-ons like pools & golf & amusements and hundreds of scary RVs. They were usually right on the water, and since the tourist season is basically over, there were often only one or two other people staying there.

We didn't really do much at all except drive around, hang out on the beach, and go out for a traditional lobster supper (well Maria had that & I just went for plain old fish 'n' chips, since seafood's not really my thing).

And that was the end of our PEI adventures.
