<p>
Brantford, Ontario has very little to offer in terms of coffee shops.. with the exception of the tim hortons on every corner..

but if you head to the downtown java, you will find an eclectic and artsy cafe.
I happen to know almost every employee there and they have hearts of gold.
They have great service, and great personalities.

They cook many lunch specials too.
Whether you are craving a caesar wrap or a hamburger, you can get your hands on it.

The walls are painted to look like a french cafe, and photography adorns the walls..

Downstairs, you will find the mission part of the java.
They supply homeless people with everything they could possibly need.
shampoo, toothpaste, shoes, clothes, bedding.. and they try to get them jobs.

The cafe even has a radio station.
And they teach art classes and cooking classes. they even have a darkroom.

Head on over. Whether you plan on just seeing the cafe, or exploring the world underground, get your tush over to the Downtown Java.

Also, if you want to be involved in the missions work, talk to sue and charlie. they are real gems!</p>
